Art History students will gain experiential knowledge in curatorial and strategies of research and display by helping to mount the exhibition. Together with Professor Greg Davies, students will examine how, by making possession an ostensible necessity, Baroque collections provided justification for the driving forces of colonialism and corporate globalization. The exhibition will provide art historical context for present-day global economic structures such as multi-national corporations.
